The Belief Code in Sarasota
There are stories we carry about ourselves that we did not exactly choose. “I have to do it all myself.” “It is not safe to slow down.” “I am not really enough.” Most of them took root so early that we do not notice them anymore. We just feel them, quietly, in the choices we make and the things we hold back from.
The Belief Code is a gentle, complementary energy method intended to work with that layer. As with all of this, I want to be straight with you: it is energy work, not therapy and not medical care, and it is meant to sit alongside the support you already have, never to replace it. With that said, for people who keep running into the same internal wall no matter how much they understand it, the Belief Code can be a meaningful place to look. It is one of the three certified Code modalities in my Energy Work & Healing hub.
What the Belief Code is
The Belief Code was developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson and is taught through [Discover Healing], where I earned my certification. It builds on the Emotion Code and Body Code, but it focuses on something deeper than emotions. It works with the limiting subconscious beliefs the method describes as quietly shaping how we see ourselves and the world.
To be clear about my language, I am describing the framework the method uses, not making a clinical claim about how beliefs form in the brain. The idea is approachable: the beliefs running in the background influence the surface, and gently surfacing and shifting the unhelpful ones is intended to create room for steadier, more supportive ones.
How a session actually works
This is gentle and unhurried. You stay fully clothed, and you can sit or lie down, whatever feels comfortable.
We begin by talking, the way I begin everything. I want to understand the pattern you keep meeting and what you wish felt different. Then I use a gentle muscle-testing approach as a kind of yes-or-no check-in, working through the Belief Code’s framework to help surface the beliefs and the systems of belief that may be ready to shift. When something comes up, the release is gentle, with no need to relive anything painful or analyze it to death. The aim is to make space, not to dig.
Because beliefs tend to come in connected layers, some people like to return over a few sessions. There is never a quota and never any pressure. From the moment you walk in, my whole goal is for you to feel safe and genuinely well cared for, which matters all the more when we are touching on how you see yourself.
What many clients report
I will tell you what tends to happen, not what is guaranteed, because everyone is different. Clients commonly describe:
Feeling lighter and less weighed down by an old story
More confidence to do something they had been hanging back from
A kinder inner voice and less harsh self-talk
Feeling more open to opportunities they used to talk themselves out of
This is inner work, and it often pairs beautifully with the emotional release of the other Code methods.
Where the Belief Code fits among the three
Most people start with The Emotion Code, because it is focused and easy to step into. The Belief Code usually comes a little later, once the more surface-level emotional layer has eased and the deeper recurring stories become easier to see. If you sense more than one kind of thing is out of balance and you want a wider look across your whole system The Body Code is the broader framework to consider.
You do not have to decide all of this on your own. Tell me what keeps coming up and I will help you start in the right place, then we follow what is actually helping you.
Keeping this safe and honest
A few commitments I always hold to, and they matter especially here.
The Belief Code is complementary and supportive. It is not therapy, not a diagnosis, not a treatment, and not a cure for any emotional, mental-health, or physical condition. If you are working with a counselor, therapist, or doctor, please keep doing that. This work is intended to support that care, not stand in for it. If something surfaces that really belongs with a licensed mental-health professional, I will gently tell you and help you take that step.
And I will never suggest that anyone else got your care wrong. I would rather put all of our attention on what we can do to help you move forward from here.
Ready when you are
If the same old story about yourself keeps getting in your way, the Belief Code is a gentle place to start looking at it. Book a session, or Contact me first and tell me what keeps coming up, and I will help you decide whether to begin here or with the Emotion Code. Either way, you will be well taken care of.

“Tracy was amazing. She took the time to listen to me and tailor my services specifically for me. She had great questions and follow-up questions to make sure I was completely comfortable and satisfied. I’ve had the craniosacral massage, spinal flow technique and lymphatic massage. She has a very relaxing setup and I wish I lived closer to see her more often.”

Tracy Bisaha, Licensed Massage Therapist (MA90791) and Licensed Facial Specialist (FB9776285) I’m the founder and sole practitioner behind Bodywork Elevated in downtown Sarasota.
My journey into this work began in healthcare, first as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later as a phlebotomist in both hospital and laboratory settings. Those experiences taught me to look beyond the symptoms and truly pay attention to the person in front of me. They also taught me the importance of compassion, trust, and helping people feel safe during vulnerable moments. That clinical foundation still shapes how I read a body today.
I’m dual-licensed in Florida as both a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Licensed Facial Specialist. My advanced training includes CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute Myofascial Release I through John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Seminars, Spinal Flow Technique with Dr. Carli Axford, Brazilian Lymphatic Massage through the Josie Rushing Method®, and certification in the Emotion Code®, Body Code™, and Belief Code® developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson.
One of the greatest gifts I can give the people who trust me with their care is my commitment to keep learning. Every class I take and every technique I study gives me another way to better support the unique person on my table. I truly believe learning is a lifelong journey, and I never want to stop growing in a profession I love.
My years in luxury hospitality, including The Ritz-Carlton, taught me something just as valuable as my clinical training: how you feel while you’re receiving care matters just as much as the care itself.
A warm welcome.
A peaceful environment.
Never feeling rushed.
Knowing someone is fully present with you.
Those aren’t extras to me, they’re part of the treatment.
Today, those two worlds come together in everything I do. My healthcare background helps me understand the body. My years in luxury hospitality remind me that every detail of the experience matters. Together, they’ve shaped the philosophy behind Bodywork Elevated.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Belief Code?
The Belief Code is a gentle energy method, developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, that is intended to help surface and shift limiting subconscious beliefs. It is a complementary practice for your well-being, not therapy or medical care.
How is the Belief Code different from the Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code focuses on releasing what are called trapped emotions, while the Belief Code works with the deeper, recurring beliefs we carry about ourselves. Most people start with the Emotion Code and move to the Belief Code once the surface emotional layer has eased.
Does the Belief Code really work?
Many clients report feeling lighter, more confident, or more open after a session, though experiences vary and I never promise a specific result. I offer it as a supportive practice, not a cure for any condition.
What happens in a Belief Code session?
You stay fully clothed and comfortable, we talk about the pattern you keep meeting, and I use a gentle muscle-testing approach to help surface beliefs that may be ready to shift. Anything that comes up is released gently, with no need to relive or over-analyze it.
Is the Belief Code safe?
Yes, it is gentle and non-invasive, and most people find it deeply relaxing. If you have a mental-health or medical concern, please keep working with your licensed providers, because this work is meant to support that care, not replace it.
Can the Belief Code replace therapy?
No. The Belief Code is complementary and supportive only, and it is not a substitute for professional mental-health or medical care. If you are seeing a therapist or doctor, please continue, and I am glad to support that work alongside them.
